Ive
been a photographer since age 12, which may explain why my interest in
photography is so diverse. I have a philosophy for each type of photography:
PORTRAITS:
I love the challenge of photographing people who feel they are not photogenic.
It's a big pay-off for me when a person gets their photos back and proclaims,
"I look good in these photos!"
WEDDINGS:
Photographing weddings are enjoyable because the love in the air
is contagious. Note the differing photographic styles represented in the
weddings sampled on this website. Before photographing a wedding I meet
with the couple to investigate what style of photography the couple feels
best represents their personalities.
CHILDREN:
When I photograph children, my motto is, "Just let them be children."
I take time with children so that I can eventually capture that perfect
moment when they don't really notice the camera any longer. Parents' involvement
is a big plus.

SAMMY
To create this shot, we set up the backdrop and the leaves,
but it took the arrival of Sammys father, for his face
to light up like this: it's the look he only gives his dad.

JUSTIN
Whenever I can, I like to utilize the available light in any
given situation; I wanted to capture this musician in an honest
moment, when he had tuned out the camera. |
