A
recent transplant to Los Angeles, David is a Chicago native with 20 years
of performing experience throughout California, Illinois and Michigan,
both in bands and as a solo pianist. He is available for cocktail gatherings,
as a jazz solo pianist, a songwriter/vocalist and soundtrack projects.
Daivd has composed and produced numerous commercial projects. Partial
lists of clients below.
David received a Masters degree in Music Composition in 1984 from
Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, where he served as pianist
for the prestigious vocal jazz group, Gold Company.
While at school, he also performed jazz and popular music around town,
engaging local audiences with his distinctive sound. His robust educational
experience in music also includes studies of film scoring at UCLA. He
has utilized this valuable knowledge to score numerous film cues.
