Scott has been a freelancer since his departure from the US Air Force in 1994.
From 1988 - 1994, Scott was a member of the United States Air Force Band, stationed at Maxwell AFB (Montgomery AL) and March AFB (Riverside CA).
He has performed in Guam, Canada, Mexico, as well as across the breadth of the United States and on major cruise lines.

Scott Strecker formative years:
Graduated with Bachelor’s Degree in trumpet performance from Wichita State University.
Born in Russell, Kansas and started playing trumpet at age 6, playing in professional polka bands by 13.
1986: At Wichita State University, working with brass quintets, jazz combos and bands and performing professionally with the Wichita Symphony Orchestra, local bands and jazz ensembles.
