Aug 2004: Jay performs with The Electric Prunes (supporting Iggy Pop, The New York Dolls, The Romantics) at Little Steven's Underground Rock & Roll Festival in New York.
Sep 2004: Jay embarks on a European Tour with The Electric Prunes, which will take him into 2005, with legs in South America and Asia.

Born and raised in Southern California, Jay Dean has been performing live for over twenty years, with a guitar style forged in the era of classic rock guitar heroes, tempered with jazz and country flavors. Jay’s vocal stylings run the gamut from smooth & soulful to funky & fresh with an irreverent sense of humor. Jay’s fretwork ranges from fast, furious passages to melodic, dreamy soundscapes at the flick of a footswitch or two. Creating “The Tone” is a passion for Jay and a pleasure for the audience.

As well as working in band situations, Jay is also a veteran at performing solo, for intimate functions and social events.
