2004: John is hired by Nancy Sinatra, replacing Gilby Clarke (ex-Guns
n' Roses), and immediately goes on the road, performing on the US East
Coast, the European continent, and middle America. His touring schedule
with Ms. Sinatra continues currently...
With an ease and fluidity born of sinful aptitude, DePatie makes it look
effortless. For him, it is.
I
like writing music as much as playing it and I love the variety that I'm
exposed to as a freelance player. One of my constant goals is to find
new people to collaborate with who can push me to do new things musically.
Having lived up and down the East Coast, John moved to Hollywood CA, where
he has resided and worked since 1992.
John
DePatie formative years:
Graduated with a B.A. in music from the University of Massachusetts.
Completed one semester of graduate level work at New York University.
Graduated with honors from the Musician's Institute in Hollywood, CA.
