Kevin has been performing professionally since age 15.
To date, he has performed in almost every state in the United States (41 at last count); in 8 different countries, and on 4 different continents.

Kevin's performances range from movie scores and trailers to CD's and remixes. His compositions have been heard in numerous network television shows, as well as several studio and independent films. (See partial lists below).

Kevin Chown Formative Years:
After high school, Kevin left his home town of Escanaba Michigan, moving to Detroit.
Bachelor's Degree in Jazz Studies, Wayne State University, Detroit.
Performed with Wayne State Jazz Lab Band at the Montreaux-Detroit Jazz Festival, where he was named Instrumental Soloist of the Year (the ONLY bassist ever to win this award).
